Bread fit for food

New attempt at baking levain bread.

It is funny how things just go so much better when you actually don’t misread the recipe.
This time I double checked EVERYTHING. And the breads turned out stunning.

I need to get a new spray bottle to get enough steam into the oven for that crispy crust, but other than that, I think I have this version of the bread down now.

Husband seems to feel the same way, because I left the kitchen for 20 minutes and when I came back half a bread was gone.
